I own two Canons--a 50D and a Rebel 3ti. I've resisted the digital age but reluctantly made peace with them...then saw a photographer's b&w photos at a show. I was taken with the ethereal quality. When he told me the were from a cheap toy camera called a Holga, I was shocked. I got my own Holga, and I've had nothing but FUN with it! The mystery and joy and surprise of film photography is back in my life. My "learning curve" roll had 3 GREAT frameable shots--and nothing but compliments from friends (and strangers at the camera store) for the quality and fun of those photos. I'm on roll 3, and can't wait to see where my Holga takes me! Double exposures (purposely and not), weird light and shadow, suspect focus..it's fun, different and worth every penny. It's even better because I don't have to count every penny to play with my Holga! I can't encourage you enough to get out there and play--and ENJOY photography again!

I expected my items to take a long time to arrive since they were coming to Canada from China. However, I was very pleasantly surprised that they arrived in 8 days!!
The Holga 120N is very easy to use. Just be sure you have somewhere to develop your 120 film if you're not doing it yourself.

I purchased this camera for a Lomography class. This is a fun camera. It is a good & inexpensive choice for beginner.
